A single wine is produced on the vineyard. It is a combination of four varietals; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. We call this combination a Meritage meaning a marriage or blend of red. All fruit is picked in a single harvest producing a single vintage. Before being bottled all wine is kept in French oak for 18+ months.
A number of ancient eucalypts grow on the property and it is said that one can detect a slight hint of eucalyptus in the wine, making it uniquely Australian.
